Speaking topics: domestic violence, love, building healthy relationships, women in leadership, start-up social enterprise
Since her standing ovation at TEDxWellington in 2017 Irene has been in high demand to share her inspiring story and insights as a young Maori woman in business and making a difference.
Having experienced abusive relationships first-hand, Irene founded Prepair NZ and is on a mission to give young women across the country to access to education about relationships and the early stage abuse that she never had.
Irene went through the Live the Dream programme for young social entrepreneurs, developing and testing a range of products and services. It gave her a platform to connect with a range of peers and mentors, and the opportunity to build her profile on Radio NZ and various other media and print publications. She'll also be speaking at Festival for the Future later in 2017.
